The Saint Domingo Song

After listening to Celtic's marvellous "Willy Maley" song we decided to invent it for ourselves. I mean Liverpool had already invented "You'll never Walk Alone" and "The Fields of Athenry" so it was only a matter of time before they invented The Willy Maley Song. Well, we didn't invent it and we thank "Charlie and The Bhoys" for their blessing.

A first verse, leading to a drunken night in and a 20 odd verse epic The Saint Domingo Song was born in the back room of a Bootle terrace.

After much help along the way and barrow loads of support and advice, and critisism, we are finally able to release "our song". We have had a great laugh along the way and we have a hundred stories to tell about this song alone....let's hope it's not the last.

On a more serious not we are not doing this as a money-maker. We have chosen the Everton Former Players Foundation as our main beneficiary along with our other chosen charities. We will go into this in greater detail when we get a minute.

Until then, buy the song, enjoy it, learn it for Wembley and let's bring the cup back home to Walton where it belongs.

.....and they gave us Dixie, Lawton, Alex Young and Kay.
